Beauty wardrobe travel hacks

The beauty of being a make up artist means I have the pleasure of traveling the world with my clients. I provide a full service of travel preparation for your beauty needs while away. I organise, prep and create a complete travel friendly beauty wardrobe. 

If your a frequent traveler either for business or leisure, why carry around full size products? 

 With a pleather of brands offering smaller sized products it’s the perfect opportunity to try new products or re-stock on your favourite beauty staples. 

Recently I was booked to re-style and over haul my clients whole travel beauty wardrobe. So stay with me and discover my top tips for streamlining your travel make up bag. 

The Makeup Bag

Your makeup bag is as important as picking a foundation. You need a bag that’s going to store your travel essentials with ease and visibility. I like the Space NK make up bag. The travel bags are see through and come in a variety of colours. 

 Pro Tip 

I create an inflight version with inflight  necessities and a separate one that is packed with the clients checked luggage for use during their holiday or business trip. 

Moisturiser

Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream

15ml mini size 

Not only is this moisturiser lightweight it gives a hydrating boost to your skin. Which is perfect when traveling on long haul flights. 

Primer 

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer Spf15 10ml

If your stepping off your flight into a business meeting this product is perfect to wear under your foundation, in humid or hot weather.  

Foundation

Foundations are very personal and it really is a case of trying multiple formulations to see what your preferences are. 

Pop Tip

Bare in mind your destination. It may mean your current foundation may be to light after you’ve been away for a couple of days. 

Lips 

Mac do some fantastic mini lipsticks. And I love these as it means you can take more colours with you and they take up even less space then a regular size lipstick. 

Cheeks 

Cheek tints are great, go to products and just enhance that beautiful glow you get while on holiday. One of my current favourites is 

Chantecaille Cheek Gelée in Happy 

The formula is a light weight gel. And you can easily glide the cheek tint on with your fingers or with a brush. 

And most importantly SPF protection  

There is so much choice on the market so do your research. And many brands offer SPF within beauty products. So use these products in edition to your normal sun protection.
